old little book
First book
When I started attending college (or university, not sure how you all call it, but you get what im referring to) i decided to carry with me an old book y had found in my room.
The book, Isaac Asimov's "Second foundation" had been lingering around my room for quite some time, i never felt inclined to read it until recently.
My copy of the book was floppy, and lightweight. Perfect to carry with me and read on the train and in recess. And that's what i did.
Having finished the book, which i enjoyed very much, i wanted to read the rest of the trilogy.
The book belonged to my older brother— whom I'll call Adastros for now on— and i asked him for the first and second books in the trilogy.
Some days later, my brother visited the house along with his girlfriend. He had brought me something, a kindle (with the Foundation trilogy in it)
Second book
i spent a long while looking for books to get in it. I managed to get 74 books.
I'm not sure if I'll manage to read even half of them, but it has been a fun experience so far.
The kindle is way lighter than any book and is easy on the eyes, unlike my phone screen.
I enjoyed it very much, and the next the I brought it with me and started reading Tender is the Flesh, a book that i had chosen for no apparent reason. I will write my thoughts on it on another blog.
So far, the kindle has been great, and the battery is long lasting too. Even though I feel strange reading it in public, as people seem to not quite figure out what exactly it is.
It has brought some attention from my classmates and professors too, everyone seem to like it as much as i did.
