Hark! What creature be this that cometh in sight, A gentle hare with fur as white as snow, Whose peaceful gait doth bring such delight, As it moveth with grace and tranquil flow.
Behold! Its visage so cute and fair, Ears long and straight, eyes so bright and clear, Its form so clean, with ne'er a trace of hair, And its gentle demeanor, ever so dear.
This be no ordinary hare, nay, But one of purest heart and noblest breed, A well-behaved creature in every way, A paragon of virtues, indeed.
O, how lovely is this rabbit so pure, Whose gentle nature doth so well endure!
